Smith Undergraduate Scholarships

This scholarship is based upon the following: GPA, major, credit accumulation, demonstrated leadership, residency, financial need, and other factors Students with cumulative GPAs of 3.3 or higher are more competitive. All students are encouraged to apply. Certain scholarship criteria varies.

University of Maryland Education Abroad Scholarship

Applicants must be undergraduate UMD student and may be eligible for funding if they have received a pell grant, high academic standing, graduated from a Prince George county high school, are first generation college students, never have traveled out of the US, are a transfer student from outside of the US, transferred from Maryland Community College. Applicants need to complete a FAFSA application.

Mid-Atlantic Federal Credit union

The applicant needs to have a 3.0 GPA, be a full-time student at USG and be enrolled in a program at USG. The scholarship is open to all USG students in the Smith School of Business or in an accounting program at the Universities at Shady Grove. Applicants are requested to be involved in a Community Volunteer Program. Students need to be eligible to join Mid-Atlantic Federal Credit Union.

The Mark A. Borenstein Executive Director’s Scholarship Fund

This scholarship was established in honor of The Executive Director at The Universities at Shady Grove and is to be awarded to any student attending The Universities At Shady Grove at the Executive Director’s discretion.
