College of Business Scholarships – The Andrikopoulos Family Scholarship
Scholarship recipients must be enrolled as a part-time or full-time student. Preference will be given to students who are working one or more jobs while attending classes also those who previously attended Laramie County Community College; to students who are faced with the burden of caring for an elderly parent or disabled child; to students who have a difficult time attending college due to obligations associated with raising children; to students who have lacked the financial means to attend college; and to students who have not succeeded at college, however, who demonstrate a current desire to succeed. Special consideration will be given to students who have shown a desire to improve their situation in life through education. Applicants should attach a short essay (one page, single spaced) explaining obstacles you have encountered while trying to obtain your education. Applicants are also required to provide a brief statement concerning current family circumstances. Potential scholarship recipients are also required to attach a copy of recent college / high school transcripts, provide a letter or recommendation from a professional non-family member (counselor, clergy, teacher, advisor, doctor etc). Students are encouraged to reapply annually.
College of Business Scholarships – Roy Chamberlain Scholarship
Eligible applicants are those students who are College of Business majors with an interest in private enterprise and have demonstrated ambition/determination in career planning.
College of Business Scholarships – Ken and Leah Griffin Scholarship
Eligible applicants are those students who are from first generation college students with either a freshman or sophomore class standing.
College of Business Scholarships – James B. Mitchell Scholarship in Entrepreneurship
Eligible applicants are those students from all College of Business majors with entrepreneurial experience. The purpose of this scholarship is to reward and encourage College of Business majors who have had a first-hand experience putting an idea to work to make money.
College of Business Scholarships – Genevieve Edsall Mortensen Scholarship
Eligible applicants are those students who are majors from thel University of Wyoming and are residents of Wyoming or Colorado and have an emotional, mental, or physical disability.
