The James Earl Romine scholarship is an endowed scholarship for Criminal Justice Majors. It is awarded to full-time students with a parent in law enforcement. Preference is given to Colbert, Franklin, or Lauderdale counties.

Alabama Correctional Employee Support Fund

The Alabama Correctional Employee Support Fund offers scholarships to employees, their children, or their grandchildren. The considered amounts are $1,000 for undergraduate students and $1,500 for graduate students. Awards are not based on need and the student must be enrolled fulltime.

The Criminal Justice Alumni Association Scholarship is for students attending Jacksonville State University and enrolled in the criminal justice degree program. The student may be in either the undergraduate or graduate program and must hold at least a 2.75 GPA.
