Arc of Washington Trust Fund

Stipends up to $5000 each to upper division or graduate students in Washington, Oregon, Alaska, or Idaho. Must demonstrate interest in field of intellectual or other developmental disabilities. Applicants must submit statement of interest in work within required field, academic and other qualifications, achievements and both immediate and long-term goals. Letters of endorsement from at least 2 faculty sponsors and official college transcripts also required.

MGMA Western Section Scholarships

Applicant must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program relevant to medical practice management including public health, business admin., healthcare admin and other related areas. NOT intended to support medicine, physical therapy nursing or other clinically related professional degrees. Applicant must be a current member of MGMA and reside in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, or Wyoming

University of Alaska Anchorage Syril’s Rising Star Scholarship

Award minimum of $500. Recipient must be a student attending UAA and pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work. Student will qualify when recognized for exceeding expectations and growth as a successful student. This scholarship will not be based on financial need.

University of Alaska Anchorage Eyak RRANN and Program Support Scholarship

Applicant should demonstrate motivation, academic and leadership potential. Applicants must be in good academic standing with a minimum GPA of 2.0, formally admitted into a degree program within the School of Nursing through the RRANN program. Applicant must be an incoming or continuing student at UAA, enrolled at least part-time. Applicant must be enrolled in the semester for which the award is to be in effect. Preference will be given to students enrolled in the Associate of Applied Sciences RRANN program who are residents of Prince William Sound or Cordova. Second preference will be given to students who are from Prince William Sound and are admitted to any of UAA’s nursing programs
