The Arizona Nurses Foundation Scholarship

Offered to undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in or accepted for enrollment in an academic nursing education program. $500 for AND students, $1000 for BSN and RN-BSN, $2500 for Masters/Doctoral. Application Deadlines are March 1 and October 1. Awards announced in May and December.

MGMA Western Section Scholarships

Applicant must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program relevant to medical practice management including public health, business admin., healthcare admin and other related areas. NOT intended to support medicine, physical therapy nursing or other clinically related professional degrees. Applicant must be a current member of MGMA and reside in Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Oregon, Utah, Washington, or Wyoming

American Legion Auxiliary Past Presidents’ Parley Scholarship Assistance in Health Care Occupations

Applicant must be enrolled or enrolling in an accredited, tax-supported institution in Arizona, which offers a certicate or degree program in Health Care Occupations. Student must be pursuing a career in Health Care Occupations, be a U.S. Citizen and a resident of Arizona for at least 1 year. Immediate family members of veterans will be given first consideration. Application must be submitted with attachments in the following order: Application, photograph of self, statement, in narrative form not to exceed 500 words, giving family, school and church activates and reason for choosing a career in Health Care. Three letters of reference from persons who can testify to character, study and work habits, transcripts form pervious years grades and test scores.

The Rotary Vocational Fund of Arizona

A one time grant of up to $3000. Applicant must apply for financial aid using FAFSA, be a legal resident of Arizona, enroll at a school in Arizona, be sponsored by a local Rotary Club of Arizona or Needles, CA, seek training in a qualifying vocational area. Qualifying vocational areas are: Trades, Maintenance & Construction, Health & Wellness, Emerging Technologies

Helene Fuld Scholarship

Eligible applicants must be full-time undergraduate nursing students enrolled in the Traditional Pre-Licensure Clinical Nursing Program. Applicants must fill out a special essay section within the general nursing scholarship application.
