NEIHART BUSINESS EDUCATION SCHOLARSHIP
The Neihart Business Education Scholarship was established in 1991 by Bill and Connie Neihart, both graduates of Indiana State University with majors in business education. During their college years, each served as president of Pi Omega Pi. Mr. Neihart received the B.S. degree in 1956 and the M.S. degree in 1958. He was employed at the University for 32 years, serving as controller for 26 years prior to his retirement in 1992. Mrs. Neihart received the B.S. degree in 1974, having started in the Secretarial Work-Scholarship Program the year it was organized. She was employed at the University for 23 years which included 11 years as assistant director of Hulman Center. Mr. Neihart died in April 2005. Scott College of Business Scholarship
Indiana State University’s Scott College of Business has scholarship opportunities for entering students; continuing students; and graduate students. There are varying sets of dates for scholarship applications depending on whether students are applying for the Gongaware and Network Scholarships for incoming freshmen.
Minas Family Scholarship in Business
This scholarship is among the annual awards on offer for undergraduate students attending Indiana State University, enrolled in the College of Business. Applicants must have a minimum 3.5 GPA as incoming freshmen; or a 3.0 GPA if they are continuing or are transfer students. It is preferred that the recipient not participate in intercollegiate athletics. Due date and award amount varies. This scholarship is renewable so long as the student maintains a 3.0 GPA.
Kelley School of Business
Eligible applicants for this scholarship are incoming students who have been directly admitted to the Kelley School of Business and have enrolled as full time students. Qualified applicants must have a minimum 3.2 high school GPA on a 4.0 scale. Preference will be given to under-represented populations whose presence will enhance the learning environment through increased diversity at IUPUI. Scholarship amount that is offered is $2000.
Kelley School of Business Sam Jones Diversity Scholarship
The Kelley School of Business Sam Jones Diversity Scholarship was established to encourage and promote students from diverse backgrounds to study in a degreed curriculum in the IU Kelley School of Business. Applicants must have received a minimum score of 1100 on the SAT or 24 on the ACT with a minimum GPA of 3.2 on a 4.0 scale. Recipients must be directly admitted to the Kelley School of Business. Students who are first-generation college students and/or are from diverse backgrounds whose presence will enhance the learning environment through increased diversity at IUPUI are encouraged to apply. The scholarship amount is valued at $2500
