Delaware Nursing Incentive Program

Applicants must be legal residents of Delaware, U.S. citizens or eligible non-citizens. Full-time enrollment in an accredited program leading to certification as RN or LPN. High school seniors must rank in upper half of class with an unweighted GPA of 2.5 or greater. Undergraduates must have a GPA of 2.5 or greater. Current state employees do not have to meet residency requirements and may be considered for prorated awarded if enrolled part-time. Current RNS with 5 or more years of state services may enroll in a BSN program on a full or part-time basis. Complete Common Merit Application and submit essay of no less than 1000 and no more than 1200 words.

Ruth Shaw Junior Board Scholarship

Applicant must be currently enrolled in a nursing or select allied health degree program and eligible for graduation in 2012 or 2013. Award offered in return for a commitment to work for Christiana Care after graduation.
