Kansas Nursing Service Scholarship

The award amount is $2500 per year for LPN program and $3500 per year for RN program. Award will be divided == one half in the fall semester and the second half awarded in the spring. Requires an obligation to practice as a LPN or Rn in Kansas and work for a sponsor. The sponsor will provide partial scholarship funding and provide employment upon licensure of the recipient. Candidate must complete the FAFSA, be accepted to a Kansas nursing program (pre-nursing will not be funded). Commitment by an eligible sponsor licensed by the state to fund up to half of the scholarship and provide full-time employment to the recipient after licensure. Student must be enrolled in 12 credit hours or more. The program accepts applicants with degrees but who HAVE NOT received RN licensure.

Peter H. and Nellie T. Jorgensen Scholarship

Scholarships are made to those students that are majoring in some area of the family health care field. Applicants must furnish evidence of acceptance into their professional school or technical area of training (pre-requisite courses are excluded). Recipients must agree to serve in Republic County for a specified period of time after completing their course of studies.

Kansas Hospital Education and Research Foundation’s Hospital Employee Scholarship

Any individual who is currently enrolled or planning to enroll in an accredited Kansas school for health care is invited to apply. Preference will be given to current hospital employees.

Memorial Health System Health-Related Education Programs

Paramedic to RN Bridge Scholarship Program

Licensed Paramedics who are accepted into a one-year bridge program from an accredited post-secondary institution, are eligible for the scholarship.
