King’s Daughters Health Foundation Health Career Scholarship

Applicant must be a resident of the following states and counties at time of application and award (Children of full-time employees at King’s Daughters Medical Center are exempt from residency requirement). Kentucky – Boyd, Carter, Greenup, Lawrence. Ohio – Lawrence. West Virginia – Wayne. Applicant must be a high school senior and enrolled or have plans to enroll in an eligible career field at an educational provider in Kentucky, Ohio, or West Virginia. Applicant must maintain at least 2.5 GPA in high school (4.0 system), successfully completed GED, scored 15 or better on ACT and 700 or better on SAT. Financial need must be demonstrated.

C. Louise Caudill Nursing Scholarship

Applicant should he majoring in nursing or an allied health field with preference given to students from the Morehead State University’s service region. Recipients shall maintain a GPA of 3.0, must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate program.

Robert and Helen Holbrook Memorial Scholarship

Applicant must be a Morehead State University student, preferably from Rowan County and majoring in a health profession. Financial aid must be demonstrated. No student receiving athletically-related financial aid shall be eligible. Recipient must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5.
