Applicant must be a Hampden County resident pursuing a nursing degree; with preference to residents of Holyoke.

Edward C., Mary and Paul Marth Scholarship

Graduating seniors from St. Mary’s High School in Westfield pursuing nursing or an allied field.

GFWC of Massachusetts Memorial Education Fund Scholarship

2013 Memorial Education Fund Fellowships for a minimum of $3000 for graduate study in pediatric nurse practitioner or clinical social work. Candidate must be a woman maintaining legal residence in Massachusetts for a minimum of 5 years. Requirements: Completed application, personal statement of no more than 500 words addressing professional goals and financial need, official transcript from all colleges and graduate schools attended, letter of reference from college department chair or recent employer (must be original on college/business letterhead), and personal interview if selected as a finalist.

Massachusetts Senior Care Foundation Scholarship Program

Scholarships available to people currently employed full or part time by a nursing facility or assisted living residence in Massachusetts who have: worked in long term care at least one year, received above average evaluations from supervisors, and been accepted into or are enrolled in an accredited education program

Belmont Street Community School Scholarship

For graduating seniors who attended Belmont Street Community School, for one or more years including 6th grade and plans to pursue a career in a health field
