MGMA Midwest Section Scholarship

Applicant must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program relevant to medical practice management including public health, business admin., healthcare admin and other related areas. NOT intended to support medicine, physical therapy nursing or other clinically related professional degrees. Applicant must reside in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota or Wisconsin.

Oxbow Animal Health Scholarship

$1000 award to students currently enrolled in a college or university who have demonstrated a career interest in companion health. Student must submit completed application with a resume describing job activities and job history. Candidate must submit two letters of reference, provide proof of full-time enrollment, transcript and GPA. Completion of 12 credit hours is required and a 300-500 word essay explaining why the student wants to pursue a career in the companion animal industry.

Nebraska Hospital Association Undergraduate Health Care Career Scholarship

Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited program leading to registration, licensure or a clinical laboratory science degree. All applicants must be employed by a member hospital of Nebraska Hospital Association.

Nebraska Health Care Foundation General Scholarship

Applicant must be presently employed in a NHCA/NALA member facility, use the scholarship funds by 10/1/2013, provide proof of successful completion of the education, pledge that upon completion of education they will practice their new skills in a nursing facility or assisting living setting for a minimum of one year.

Nebraska Health Care Foundation RN/LPN Scholarship

Applicant must be enrolled or eligible to enroll in a RN or LPN School of Nursing, presently employed in a NHCA/NALA member facility and pledge that upon successful completion of the course they will practice nursing in the long term care setting for at least one year.
