Mary Marshall Nursing Scholarship Program for Registered Nurses

Eligible students must be Virginia residents for at least one year, be accepted or enrolled as a full- or part-time student in a school of nursing in the state of Virginia, demonstrate financial need, verified by the Financial Aid Office/authorized person at the school of nursing. Student must have a GPA of at least 3.0 in required courses, not electives. Student must have submitted a completed application form and an official grade transcript to The Office of Minority Health and Public Health Policy prior to June 30.

Franklin D. Boyce Annual Health Scholarship Program

The scholarship is available to residents of the City of Hopewell and the following localities: Prince George, Colonial Heights, Petersburg, Emporia, Fort Lee, Dinwiddie, Sussex, Surry, Chesterfield (South of Rt. 288 and East Ironbridge Road), Charles City, and Varnia (Southeast Henrico,, south of I-64). Students must be attending or express an interest in attending college as a full- or part-time undergraduate or graduate student in a health-related field, submit a completed application online, mail or hand-deliver the ‘attachments’ requested, demonstrate financial need and have a GPA of 3.0 or better. The award is $2500 and will be paid directly to the school.

Virginia Nurses Foundation Scholarship

Applicant must have GPA of 3.0 or higher (4.0 scale), an RN completing BSN requirement, intend to practice in Virginia, be a resident of Virginia licensed as a RN in Virginia

The Kathy Green Memorial Scholarship

Must be a junior or senior with a major in the Waldron College o Health and Human Services.

Albert Carlot Memorial Scholarship

Must be a non-traditional undergraduate student majoring in Nursing and must maintain a 3.5 GPA or better.
