Health Care & Human Services Scholarships in Wisconsin

MGMA Midwest Section Scholarship

Applicant must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program relevant to medical practice management including public health, business admin., healthcare admin and other related areas. NOT intended to support medicine, physical therapy nursing or other clinically related professional degrees. Applicant must reside in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota or Wisconsin.

Amy Hunter-Wilson, MD, Scholarship

Applicant must be a U.S. citizen and enrolled member of a federally recognized American Indian tribe who has completed high school. Must be enrolled at an accredited technical school, college or university in a medical or health-related program. Adults returning to school in a health care field or those currently working in a non-professional health-related field who are pursuing a professional license or degree are eligible. Undergraduate students majoring in a health-related field or pre-med program are eligible. Preference will be given to candidates from Wisconsin who are attending an educational institution in Wisconsin.

John D. Riesch and Virginia Riesch Scholarship Endowment

Available to students pursuing careers as physicians or nurses attending University of Wisconsin. Preference is given to students who desire to practice in Wisconsin

Stephen Kearney Scholarship

Applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 (4.0 scale), desire to continue graduate studies in a Human Services area, and have been active in Human Services work as shown through continued volunteer work in Human Services and membership in NOHSE of the student HOS or the National Honor Society for Human Services.

GWFC – Wisconsin Health Scholarship

Available to those interested in pursuing a career in the health and health-related studies at a two- or four-year institution.
